I’m not a blogger
I’m clearly not good at this. How long has it been since I’ve posted last? Two months or something. I don’t know and I don’t know if I’ll keep this up but I’m actually going to try to post more. At least once a week, I think, for a month. Just to see if I can actually make a post. If I make more great and if I can’t do this…then…well, I haven’t thought that far into this. Anyways quick update!
Alex and I traveled to Bodø (two months ago) for Alex’s brothers confirmation. These things are kind of a big deal in Norway. All the kids are doing it. They get professional pictures taken, they invite everyone they have ever met, and you eat like you will die tomorrow. I’m not going to insert a picture because I don’t have one right now…maybe later.
Later in life I did this thing with my coworkers called blåtur. In a nut shell, our boss hired someone to set up some kind of adventure for us. We had no idea what we were going to do this day. We just knew we needed warm clothes (hiking clothes), a change of clothes, and we needed to show up at the restaurant at 10 (if I’m remembering that right). So when we show up we find out that we are canoeing down the Alta river all day and we were stopping half way to have a traditional meal in lavvu. Very cool. We had reindeer, multebær, bread, wine and all was right with the world.
Let’s see….I don’t think anything else has happened that is worth mentioning. I’m studying a lot this week because I have my first exam on Friday. Hopefully all goes well. OH! I had a birthday! All I did was play hooky part of the day but I got some really cool gifts from home and I made some awesome carrot cake cupcakes.
Cool! I think that is enough updating. I’ll try to post again in a weeks time and hopefully I will find something interesting to share!
